This will be a place for putting images of fungi that I've taken. Eventually I may add some additional commentary, but there appear to be plenty of blogs out there, without my adding substantially to the number of windy bits in circulation in the blogosphere.

I'm a normal guy (really), living with my family in St. Paul, MN. We've got one son at college in Madison, WI, and another still at home. Gabby is the cat that runs the house.
As for me, I'm: very happily married, losing a lot of hair, battling a serious chocolate addiction, very fond of a good cup of coffee, greatly amused by the Intelligent Design "controversy," looking forward to spring (always), bemused by my lack of ability to play the simple game of golf, looking forward to travelling with my wife in retirement, a true agnostic, and (perhaps) much more immature than my age would suggest.
A good friend of mine once said (I don't know if the phrase was one he originated) "the first step toward wisdom is mastering the obvious."
I'm still working on that, but I'm feeling encouraged.
